Getting settled into the freelance life. Picking up part time hours for some consistent pay on the side while I get rolling so I'm really learning to appreciate the chance to create. After spending so much time in school I have to admit I had lost the spark a bit. It has absolutely come back full force so now I'm grinding stuff out every chance I get. I am addicted to creating stuff and I don't ever want to stop.
Right now I'm pushing myself a lot in zbrush, trying to figure out every little bell and whistle is a mountain of a task but some of the results you get are very satisfying, especially in terms of saving yourself some time and smashing concepts out.
As a side note I'm beginning to get followers who are complete strangers and that's very new to me. I love you guys so much for being interested in what I do!
This bird is my first attempt at a full character in zbrush using a lot of subtools etc.
These busts were my 2 favorite out of like 10 busts I did. I brought them into photoshop and tried to integrate the zbrush render into a painting to flesh out the character.
These weapons are 100% photoshop painted and I was just playing with the idea of high and low level weapon design while using similar shapes.
